Patient Rights
Every individual who applies to our hospital for diagnosis and treatment purposes can follow the rights that are supervised by our department and documented in this text in every stage:
Right to Benefit from Health Services:
⦁ Every individual who applies to our hospital is entitled to benefit from the available diagnosis and treatment means, irrespective of his physical, mental and social characteristics.
⦁ A patient is entitled to choose the doctor and/or health facility and change at any stage of the treatment.
⦁ Right to be Respected and Esteemed: A patient is entitled to be treated in a respectful, polite, compassionate and cordial environment, by always protecting his self-esteem.
⦁ A patient is entitled to receive health service where all hygienic requirements are met and all noisy and disturbing factors are eliminated.
⦁ Right to Privacy: A patient is entitled to receive any health services in an environment that is compatible for confidentiality. A patient may clearly demand the protection of his privacy. All medical treatments are performed by respecting the patients privacy.
⦁ Right to Demand Information: A patient is entitled to demand any information about the health services and means and his health condition
⦁ Right to choose and change the health facility and personnel: A patient is entitled to choose, change the health facility and benefit from the health services offered at the health facility he chooses, and learn the identities, jobs and titles of the physicians and the other health employees who will provide the health services.
⦁ Right to Examine Records and Demand Personal Information to be Kept Confidential: A patient may examine the file and records that contain information on his health condition directly or by proxy, and obtain a copy thereof. Such records may only be seen by those who are directly related with the patients treatment. A patient is entitled to receive any health services in an environment that is compatible for confidentiality.
⦁ Refusal, suspension and consent: A patient is entitled to refuse the treatment, ask for its suspension, to have his consent obtained in medical interventions and benefit from the service within the scope of such consent. No one may be subjected to any medical treatments for experience, research or training purposes, without his consent
⦁ Right to Benefit from Religious Services: Measures are taken in order for the patients to fulfill their religious duties freely, to the extent allowed by the means of our hospital.
⦁ Right to Visit and Have a Companion: The visitors of patients are accepted according to the methods and principles defined by our hospital and in such a way that will not cause any acts or conducts that will disturb the peace and welfare of the patients, and the necessary measures are taken in this respect. A patient may be asked to bring a companion in order to assist the patient during examination and treatment; to the extent allowed by the legislation and the means of the hospital and to the extent necessitated by the health condition of the hospital, depending on the approval of the physician who is responsible for the treatment.
